Cylinder Inspection
Underwater Dynamics offers visual inspections, hydro testing, oxygen cleaning and valve service and cleaning. All service is performed by certified Professional Cylinder Inspectors and with strict adherence to PSI, OSHA and CGA standards. We inspect SCUBA, SCBA and paintball cylinders.
Service price list
- $15Cylinder Visual Inspection
- Inspection includes cleaning of the cylinder neck and valve threads, replacing valve 0-ring, installing valve, testing for leaks and affixing Evidence of Inspection sticker. Eddy current inspection of neck threads is performed where applicable.
- $39Cylinder hydrostatic testing
- $35Cylinder interior tumbling
- Dry tumble cylinder with the abrasive media specific to the cylinder composition. Blow out cylinder with compressed air to remove any dust.
- $40Valve Service
- Completely disassemble, clean and carefully inspect all parts for damage, wear and corrosion. Replace any parts as directed by manufacturer, replace burst disk.
- $80Cylinder and Valve Oxygen Service
- Service includes washing interior of the cylinder with environmentally safe detergents to remove hydrocarbon contamination, rinsing and thorough drying. We completely disassemble the valve, clean and carefully inspect all parts for damage, wear and corrosion. We replace any parts as appropriate, replace burst disk and all o-rings with oxygen compatible o-rings.

Your complete satisfaction is our goal. If our service doesn't meet your expectations we can service the item again at no charge within 30 days of original service. Prices specified above are labor only. Price of parts depends on the item being repaired, warranty status etc. We will be happy to provide you with an estimate and no service will be performed if it exceeds the estimate without your prior approval. Please note, we accept only complete equipment for full service. We don't accept components only or perform partial service.
